I have an average of how many days my cycles have been for the last 5 months, can I use that as a guide to find my fertility window with? my average cycles are 29 days, which means i ovulate around day 15, so would it be safe to say that cycle days 12-18 would be a good time frame?
in short, no. it's great you know your average cycle length but that means nothing in regards to when you ovulate. you could be ovulating early or later in your cycle, it could be different every month, thus missing your window entirely. you could try just having sex every other day for your whole cycle and seeing what happens or you can learn more about your fertility.
have you thought about really charting your BBT or cervical mucos? the website Fertility Friend.com has some great resources to get you started. If you want to get a little deeper try reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it opened my eyes to the female body and fertility. I have learned so much.
do you ever notice feeling slippery down there, like being aroused when you know your not. that is a fertility sign that you should be having sex around then. I am in my fertile phase and we are having sex every other day until I 'dry up' or confirm ovulation with my BBT.
I agree. My ovulation seems to be different each month. Last month I ovulated around CD11-12 and this time it looks like it is today or yesterday and I am on CD23, so you never know. Try temping vaginally using fertility friend - that is what I have been using and it is super easy. Make sure you temp each morning at the same time before getting out of bed. I currently do 6 AM, but I find that sometimes for pilates I have to get up at 5:30 so that interferes. Next cycle I am starting temping at 5 AM. I just set my alarm, take my temp and then mark it it FF, take my puppy out to pee and then go back to sleep
