Okay, so I have been charting for 9 years so I'm shocked that I suddenly have a chart I can't figure out, but maybe someone can help or at least offer an opinion.
I have PCOS and rarely ovulate without medication. We have been ttc #4 for 2.5 years. I just completed 6 rounds of clomid and switched to Femara this cycle.
So this cycle, I ovulated probably CD 20 or CD 21 (I lost my thermometer for a week or so right before O so I have almost no pre-O temps in there but I know my norm.). Post-O temps are quite a bit higher than normal, I usually max out at 98.5. Started spotting around 7-8 dpo and continued spotting until 2 days ago - 16/17 dpo. Temp dropped to the coverline today but still no sign of AF, not even spotting or anything. I've taken several pg tests and all have come out negative. There was ONE day of spotting that could possibly be considered "light" bleeding at 13/14dpo.
Should I count all the spotting as a super light AF and move on to the next cycle and start my meds? Keep waiting for AF to show up? something else...?
Spotting should stay with this cycle, it's part of your Luteal Phase and not the start of a new cycle. Start a new chart on the day when actual flow begins, when you need more than just a pantyliner to manager.
I'd say if you haven't already, you are probably going to start today or tomorrow. I usually spot for several days before I get my period (PCOS 10yrs). Don't plot it as a new cycle yet though. Just in case.
