So I ovulated and then on DPO 4, my temperature went below my coverline. Then on DPO 6, I started my period.
This means I have low progesterone, right? I have my first RE appointment in 6 days. If he puts me right on Clomid (because I rarely ovulate according to my charts), will this help my progesterone or would I need another drug to help this?
If your temp did not remain high for more than 3 days, then you likely didn't ovulate. The bleed you experienced 6 days later was likely a withdrawal bleed. That happens when your body attempts to ovulate (estrogen rises) and it fails to go through with it. When estrogen comes crashing down after, that can cause bleeding.
What you need to do is find a doctor who is willing to figure out what is interfering with successful ovulation. If the underlying cause can be addressed, you won't need Clomid.
