Ok ladies, I have a question for you. I have been contemplating charting for so long and now that I've actually kept it up for a half month I'm addicted!! It's really fascinating how well I am starting to understand my body. Really cool.

So here's the question--
I am on Day 17 I believe of my chart and believe I am about to ovulate--based on the fact that I have Eggwhite CM. Ok, so this is where I am confused and unsure--My cervix felt higher a few days ago, and lower now that I have the eggwhite CM. Isn't high a sign of ovulation? Also, I got a partial postive on a ferning microscope about a week ago--but now nothing? Any ideas??

I'm not sure about the cervical position. The only thing I do know is make sure you are checking your cervix at the same time everyday to make sure you are getting accurate info. It's my understanding that your cervix moves during the day. Good luck!!!!!!

I dont know about the saliva scope as I dont use one of those , but for your cp, it will move throughout the day and it is also possible that your body tried to ovulate and it didnt so now it will try again...Also your cm will dry up and your cp willl close about a day or so before you ovulate...when your LH surges which is what causes the eggie to pop out it surpasses estrogen which is what is responsible for the SHOW cervix and for the EWCM , when it surpasses it it causes everything to dry up and close up....Your cervix is never totally closed so you should still bd then and the sperm can still get up there.,...Anytime you see fertile cm you should bd esp when you get EWCM as that is the most fertile cm there is....

Thank you ladies!

Sandymal--I didn't know your body can try to ovulate and then try again--that's interesting. And I'm glad to hear that your CM dries up before you ovulate--because I've had EWCM for 4-5 days now and keep expecting my temp to go up, but they haven't. So that makes sense.
