I never thought I'd say this and think it might be a problem, but I am losing weight without trying. Before I got PG I was dieting pretty vigorously, but once I got my BFP I stopped. Now, I am still losing weight and I eat constantly! Do you think this is a problem? I have lost about 5 lbs since I got my BFP. I guess I'll talk to the Dr. about it when I see her tomorrow.

with my pregnancy with my daughter, i lost weight throughout my first 2 trimesters..without trying. i only gained a total of 25 lbs, all in the last 3-4 months. i was on a teeter totter during my second tri, i would gain 2 or 3 lbs, and then i would lose 5. i was worried also but i had a healthy baby. and my doctor said it was fine...as long as the baby was growing. HTH.

I have heard that some women actually lose weight in there 1st trimester and there is nothing wrong with that. Since you dieted before being preggo maybe its your body just kicking in to lose the weight when you were dieting since it does take awhile after dieting before you lose. I don't think its a problem but it wouldnt hurt to talk to ur Doc!!! GOOD LUCK and I think your just fine!!

It's ok Amie! I panicked at first too, I have lost 6 lbs (the first 5 came off almost instantly, and same as you, I was eating all the time). The doctor said it's fine, and since then just about everyone I've talked to said that they lost weight in the first trimester with all their children.

As long as you dont loose too much its not a prob. I have a friend who has lost 15 lbs since she has been pg and the dr said as long as she doesnt loose anymore she is fine.

I lost about 5 or so during the first trimester with my DD.

Don't worry, you'll start gaining it back in no time!
