Popping over form TTC here, theres been a change of plans and I need some help...
Well, its seems that I have to stop TTC for the next 3 months because my new insurance covers everything but childbirth until October of the next year, which means I cant get pregnant until after January .
My cycles are still all over the place due to coming off of the pill in July, and I was thinking about seeing a fertility specialist soon, but I also know that for them to actually do anything, they will ask me to chart for 3 months.
So,I want to chart these 3 months because thanks to not TTC,I wont be obsessing about it and its a great way to know if Im even ovulating..and when I go to the doctor in January,IŽll have something to show them kwim?
But I dont even know where to start.AF was due on Sunday but isnt here yet,so I have no idea how long my cycles are..the last one was 7 weeks long and this one looks like its going to be simmilar..
I will start charting the first day of AF when she finally arrives.
Where can I get my self a chart and how do I note my temp? Also, dont you have to know how many days your cycle lasts to chart?
I really need lots of info on this because I have no idea what so ever hw to do this
Thanks!!!!

Cycles can vary from month to month - you just chart your signs of fertility every day as they happen. No predictions or assumptions about what might happen, you just observe it day by day. It would be a great idea to chart while you wait to TTC, it will help you get to know your body!

I wouldn't bother with a fertility specialist yet since you only came off the pill in July - it can take anywhere from 3 - 18months for your fertility to fully recover from hormonal contraceptive use, so there isn't much than can be done except to be patient with your body and let it heal!

Here are few places to learn about charting:
