I cannot believe I am actually writing all of this. Wow talk about TMI but anyhoo, my curiosity has the best of me today and I can't learn if I don't ask, right?
Okay so AF due late today/tomorrow. My cervix has been low and hard for a few days and today, she suddenly is high and softer. Now this is my first month of really charting CP so I am learning but isn't that odd? I do know the CP can't tell you if you're preg or not (just the numerous BFNs handle that for me anyhow), I am just curious about why that would happen so close to AF?
Also (here is where a flashing TMI light should come on), when I checked CM this morning (I check 3 times a day for CM and CP just once a day at the same time (1pm), it was creamy, same as the past week but there was a greenish-like a mucus plug or something. Then, when I checked it at 1pm (same time as CP check) it was clear with white in it. The clear was very eggwhite-like only not quite as stretchy.
Now I have been reading woomb.org (Billings method) and he talks about a mucus plug coming out of the cervix at ovulation time (to allow the swimmers access to the eggie) and again when AF arrives (to allow the woman to menstruate) - would that be what I saw this morning?
I find all of this so fascinating so I had to ask even though I am red-faced as I type LOL.
TIA for your help!
