I cannot believe I am actually writing all of this. Wow talk about TMI but anyhoo, my curiosity has the best of me today and I can't learn if I don't ask, right?

Okay so AF due late today/tomorrow. My cervix has been low and hard for a few days and today, she suddenly is high and softer. Now this is my first month of really charting CP so I am learning but isn't that odd? I do know the CP can't tell you if you're preg or not (just the numerous BFNs handle that for me anyhow), I am just curious about why that would happen so close to AF?

Also (here is where a flashing TMI light should come on), when I checked CM this morning (I check 3 times a day for CM and CP just once a day at the same time (1pm), it was creamy, same as the past week but there was a greenish-like a mucus plug or something. Then, when I checked it at 1pm (same time as CP check) it was clear with white in it. The clear was very eggwhite-like only not quite as stretchy.

Now I have been reading woomb.org (Billings method) and he talks about a mucus plug coming out of the cervix at ovulation time (to allow the swimmers access to the eggie) and again when AF arrives (to allow the woman to menstruate) - would that be what I saw this morning?

I find all of this so fascinating so I had to ask even though I am red-faced as I type LOL.

TIA for your help!

sounds like you are going to start. If you really want to get to the bottom of it. Check it when you are on your period. This is the best way to see how it feels when it's open. Which is great for checking when you will ovulate.

I normally get wetter when it closer to AF and I checked my CP when I was barely spotting yesterday and it was so very soft and open and high. This helped show me what open is exactly.

I am not good about checking my cervix. Once I start actually ovulating again I am going to start checking. Hopefully, this will be a sign for you. Your chart looks pretty good so far.

Thanks everyone. I am pretty sure AF will arrive today. I went too bed last night with really bad cramps and my temps dropped again. So I think those were signs of the
