Joining Up...I've had it!!!!!

Hi Ladies! Most of you have probably seen me on the other ttc boards. My name is Kristen. DH and I have been ttc baby #4 since March of 06 (which seems like a million years ago). I've never had a problem getting pregnant before so this has truly been one of the most frustrating experiences of my entire life! I have a problem with ovarian cysts (they rupture a lot). My cycles are a bit wacky. They typically range from 29-33 days long, but every once in a while I will have a marathon cycle that will last over 40 days. I'm still breastfeeding my 2 year old occasionally so when I look at all these things I wonder if I'm even ovulating. I use OPK's but I don't know how accurate they are. I get several days of very similar looking results so it's hard to tell. There have been times when I will get a positive OPK on CD 14 then a bunch of negatives and then another positive on CD 19. I really don't get it! Literally the line will be just as dark as the control line on both days. That leads me to believe that something isn't right so I'm hoping that charting will give me some kind of a clue. I've never charted before so it will probably take me a few months to get the hang of it. I will be reading a bunch of old posts on here and trying to learn everything I can. Oh, BTW, I'm spotting today so AF should be here anyday. I'm assuming I don't start temping until AF actually starts full force?

You should read the getting started sticky at the top of the page,,,,It wont take months, youll have it down pat in a couple days....what can take months is reading others charts ....but any questions you have let us know!!!

Kristen, welcome! I think charting is a good idea. I have to wonder how much bfing is effecting your cycles and charting will tell you what is going on. I know for me bfing really messes with my cycles. If you post a link to your chart, I'll start stalking you.

Welcome! There are a lot of ladies here that really know their stuff! I'm still learning, but I think I'm getting better. You'll find that charting really helps you to understand your cycles better than you ever have. I plan on charting through my pregnancy just to see how it goes.....well, that's the plan anyway LOL!
