<span style="color:#FF99FF">Hello ladies,
I have been gone for a little while due to military committments but I need a little bit of help. I am new to charting so to speak and on working on my first full cycle of charting.

I am confused... My normal cycles lasts only about 24 days and I am on CD 27. I guess I ovulated later than predicted as well. Can anyone offer any advice and what I am looking at and looking for?

Thanks!

Definitely looks like your O date is correct. your temps are nice and fairly steady.

I'd say, wait another couple of days before testing. Maybe 12 DPO. You should get a pretty definite answer by then.

Looks Good!!

Lots of luck!

You have an awful lot of open circles.. so it's kinda hard to say for sure. But it does look like you have a biphastic pattern - post O temps higher than pre O temps.

I'm not anywhere close to an expert at reading charts yet, though. You need to get Sandy in here to take a look at it Good luck!!

With those open circles it is really going to be hard to tell when you O'd for sure. How off were you on your temps when you took them? I think you probably O'd, but the O date could be off.

Thank you everyone for your help! The circles are mostly for other things besides the time... I think. I normal test at about 3:20 in the morning. (I have a long commute and start work at 530). I set my alarm for this time even on my days off but I don't always catch it. But when it is way off or was effected by a fever, I discarded it.

The times that were counted and off, they were off by 3-5hrs due to my early test time.

I am having some unusual cramping in the middle of my lower abdomen when I usually only cramp on one side or the other. I don't want to think I am PG though because I think I have a lot of common PG symptoms for PMS ones.
Thanks again... I will continue to check and maybe Sandy will be able to help with something we all missed!

Jessica

OK well i guess i was wanted on this one lol....and im late!!!!!

It does look like your o date is right to me....also just to tell you that your luteal phase will pretty much always remain the same whereas your cycle length can vary...if say you normally o on day 14 and have a 28 day cycle but this month you o on day 18 that means that you will have a 32 day cycle that month because your o date was later....how ever late your o day is thats how much longer your cycle will be....

I didn't know that your cycle would be extended based on your ovulation day. Does anyone know why ovulation days vary and/or why it would be delayed one or two months in a row?

ovulation can be delayed for ny number of reasons.,...stress, hormones, meds...really it may be that your o date changes alot. Its very normal to not ovulate on the same day each month. It all relies on when that egg gets mature enough to pop on out of there. I would say that since you are ovualting not to worry too much...it makes ttc a lil harder b/c your o date is a lil less predictable but it just means more bd'ing fun!!!
