I am on CD 10. I just started charting on CD6. The last two days my temp has been 98.1. This morning it was 97.9. I usually get up at 5:30. However, this morning I got up to pee at 4:30 then went back to bed and took my temp around 5:30. Could this be why it was lower? I'm not too good at this temp thing. The 1st day I took it, it was 98.0 (that was on CD6) then I forgot on CD7. I took it around 7 on CD8, at 5:30 on CD9, then at 5:30 today (cd10). I am really hoping to get prego this month. I am really really wanting to O this month....not sure if I will though because I stopped the BCP during the middle of my cycle.

Make sure that you are temping at a somewhat consistent time because it will through your temps off a little. If you woke up at 4:30 and temped at 5:30 then there is definitely a chance that that temp might be off. You want to have at least 3 hours of consistent sleep to get an accurate reading and its a good idea to just set an alarm to go off at a certain time each day. HTH!

Yes, that could make your temperature lower. It would be helpful to see your chart. If you want to post a link or add it to your siggy, I'll try to take a look at it later.

also even though that temp was innacurate since you got up, it does seem right for pre -ovulatory temps....esp if you are gearing up to o b/c you would have a temp drop kwim
