I'm thinking I bought a bad batch of test strips and I'm pissed. I bought the Answer brand with the pee cup and 20 day supply as usual. I pee in the cup and the test line barely shows up. I tried several different sticks and all come out the same. It takes forever for the urine to soak into the test area. Normally I see it happen right away. I usually have the problem of trying to see if the two lines are as dark as one another and now I'm barely getting a test line. So now what should I do? I have to know this time b/c I am doing IUI this cycle. Should I go get the $40 clear blue easy 7 day supply? or head to the dollar store and see if they have any test?
Also, the number they give you on the box to call for questions or comments does not give you a person to speak with...just an automated voice. Ugggg. I want my money back!
There should be a website on the box as well so maybe you can email them.
If your worried they were not working right, I would head out and get a different brand. I wouldnt worry what brand you get just something else to be safe so you wont miss your surge.
I got the clear blue easy digital one. It was negative today. Also asked the drugstore if they would take the other one back. They said yes, so I'll return it tomorrow.
good at least the drugstore will help you out...i hate it when a company has bad customer service....and i think the cbe digi opks are great...no lines to read just smiley or no smiley!!!
Last month I bought the Answer brand and when I was using it I was barely getting a test line as well...I looked at the box to find out after using four of them that the box of them had expired!!! I was so mad!!!

I'ts a good thing the store will take them back, so they should. Just wanted to tell you that I've only ever tried the internet cheapies (opk's), but I have found them fantastic. Very clear results and so far I havn't had to look hard or second guess them. Deffinately worth trying. The first month I used them we concieved after 12 months trying. Unfortunately that wasn't to be. Last month I tried them again, they worked great but I didn't that time. Best of luck with your IUI.
