I bought an opk and used one on CD8 and the line came up right away and was just about as dark as the control line. Took another one on CD 10 and the line was lighter. Took another one on CD11 and it come up just as light or lighter. Is it possible that I have O'd early???

OPKs can be such moody things. So much can factor into them being ligher or darker.

In order for it to be a true + the test line is suppose to be AS dark if not darker than the control.

When do you usually ovuate?

You could have O'd early, but you might not have O'd yet at all. Are you charting? It would help to have a chart to help confirm OPK results.
