Do OPK's always have that faint test line, or does it just show up if you are about to O? Haven't O'd yet this month and was just curious if the faint line is a good indicator that it is on its way. TIA

It depends on what type, but with Answer I would always get a faint line.

these are the clearblue easy read ones. Anyone have any particular experience with these and if they always show a faint line or not??

All this is so confusing. As of right now, I don't chart. But I'm thinking I may have to start. This is our 5th month TTC!!

I always got one with the Answer weather I was around O time or not. I heard the ones you have are just as sensative as the Answer so I would say its probaly not a good indication.

I always get lines, but I don't ovulate every month. I usually notice them getting gradually darker so that's a good indicator

ok... today the line was even lighter than yesterday. Does that mean that I missed it ? Should I keep testing? I am on cd 10. Don't have EWCM yet so I figure I haven't missed it. Sorry for the rambling, I just really want this to be the month. DH and I are bd'ing every night, and I have heard that you shouldn't do it every single day. What are your opinions on this?? Thanks for all your replies!

I also have a question about OPK.

This is first time using it, and I tried one out just to see if I could read it. Well, I'm on cycle day 7 and got a positive reading. My line was darker than the control line. Can this be a very early surge?? Or am I ready to O??? Very confused...Any help!?!?!?!?

most of them will have 2 lines.

But you do not have a positive till the test line is the same if not DARKER than the control line.

It's possible you O'd earlier in your cycle. If you got a positive OPK on day 7 that would mean you would be Oing day 8 or 9. How long are your cycles usually? I tend to think that you have not O'd yet, but it is possible. Do you chart at all? Charting would help say for sure what happened. Are you testing with first morning urine? That could cause you to get a false positive. It is best to test mid-morning or mid-afternoon.

I would keep testing. You are still very early in your cycle.
