I am on my 2nd cycle after getting off BCP. Last month I ovulated on CD 14. This month I am on CD 16 and still no sign of ovulation (although, my temp dropped today, so maybe it is about to spike). I am wondering if your O date changes from month to month? If so, how much is "normal"? Or could this just be from my cycle regulating itself?
I am just worrying right now that maybe I won't or can't ovulate. And that when we start trying, I won't be able to get pregnant. Just one of those days.

well since this is only your second cycle off bcp it could be your body re adjusting and getting back to normal. My o date does varry FF said my min is cd14 and my max is cd 26 but that has only happend once and i think it was due to stress at the time. i usually o around cd 16 but it does varry after a few cycle of charting i could start to see a pattern and i have gotten to where i can tell when im gonna O between my temp and my CM iv just started using OPKs so im not all that good with me i actually od early this cycl and dident startOpks eirly enough. hope that helped some im shure you body will adjust in a couple cycles and youll have a more consistant O date

It sure looks like you could be about to O. I have seen a lot of people really vary on their O date. I think you will need a few cycles before you will know how varied they will be. Hopefully, you'll get a BFP this month and it won't matter!

Some ladies ovulate on the same CD every cycle, others its all over the place.

Being you are getting off BCPs your body may need a few months to get things in order.

Thanks ladies.
CD 17 now and it still doesn't look liked I have O'ed. I can't help but worry that last month is a fluke and that I won't O or that I will have totally unpredictable cycles and have a hard time getting pregnant.
Oh, and DH and I are preventing, not trying, until he gets a job. Which does not look to be happening soon.

It doesn't look like you've O'd yet to me. Just so you know when you are coming off of bcp, it takes your body time to adjust. It took me three cycles after coming off of bcp to get an accurate idea of what my cycles really are.

Good luck to you!!!

Well, I usually o between days 15 and 18, but it's cd19 for me and still no temp shift and I still have ewcm. Everyone is different. Sometimes, there are things going on in the body that we don't know about. I have a sneaking suspicion that because you just recently got off the pill; you're body is still trying to regulate itself. Don't get discouraged if you don't o every cycle for the first three cyles. BCP put your body in a constant state of making it think you're pregnant, so you don't o. So it makes sense that it wouldn't just get back to normal, especially if you've been on it for a while.

Good Luck! lots of BABY DUST!
