My chart is odd this month - not as much up and down as usual. What do you think? I woke to major O cramps today - heavier than I have had in months PLUS I had multiple +++ OPKs yesterday (which last month never got this dark and I tested several times per day so as not to miss it - well that and feed the addiction LOL). Last month my O cramps came late too, like 3-4 days after FF said I ovulated.
Anyhow, stalkers welcome - just trying to figure out why my temps look so flat the past few days.

Flat temps are not bad at all to have on a chart, its a sign that your hormones are stabilizing (thats a very good thing). If you got your pos opk yesterday, you should be O anywhere from as early as 24 to as late as 72 hours later. Dark lines on an opk in my opinion (and I can be completely wrong) but I think they are a sign of a healthy mature egg (or at least we know you have a sustantial amount of LH in your system). Good luck in catching your eggie this cycle! I hope you are blessed with a bfp very soon! (((((((O Vibes)))))))

Okay me again one day later. I was positive that I ovulated yesterday - all the signs were so strong - stronger than in months. High soft cervix (never been that high or soft since i started charting it), EWCM, woke up with such a heaviness, followed all morning with cramps. Had 4 +++ OPKs the day before too and then more O cramps last night.
Anyhow my temps went down (ever so slightly) instead of up. Does that ever happen? Is it possible I get all these signs but I am slow to actually release an egg? I ask because last month my ovary hurt like 4-5 days after FF said I ovulated. Can it take a day before your temp spikes or did I just gear up and then nothing?
TIA!

Looking at your chart, it looks like you might be O'ing today. I've noticed with my last few cycles that I was O'ing a little later than normal, usually 2 to 3 days after I got a pos opk, which was not totally abnormal but on some of my previous cycles I was so used to O'ing the day after my first pos opk. So far your looking good! Its normal to see a temp dip on O day. The only confirmation that you will have if you do O today, is a temp rise tomorrow that stays sustained. Good luck catching that eggie and BD today if you can! (((((((O Vibes)))))))

I think you are probably going to O today. I often have cramping for a couple of days after I O and I think that is pretty normal. It is even more exajerated (sp?) when I am on Clomid. From my understanding it is the corpus luteum that is left when the egg bursts through and releases. It leaves behind the corpus luteum (the sac the egg matured in) and that is what produces progesterone in the second part of your cycle. Sometimes that little sac left behind can cause cramping.

I just realized how different my chart looks in celcius (which is how I chart but you all see farenheit, right?). So here I am thinking about how 'flat' they look but then I clicked on my signature last night and saw it really doesn't look flat.....y'all must have thought I was crazy
But you were right! temps went up today - FINALLY!!!

LOL!
And it looks like you Oed! Thats great!
I sometimes have charts where I really do flatline, but for me I would rather see it like that than up and down like crazy!
