i've been doing some research on-line and found several sites saying that short luteal phases are not really the problem. the problem is in the follicular phase with ovulation, something isn't going right? is this true? what they are saying is that the b6 and progesterone cream do not actually solve the problem, only mask it.

I'm not sure. What I do know is that any LP under 11 days is short and does not give the eggie the time it needs to implant. As for the B6, I have read it on a few site and know of at least two women who swear it worked for them. Regardless, if you think or know that you have a short LP, it definitely needs to be address to your dr.

If you are worried about your LP you could call your doc.

BUT I would be willing to bet they will say its cuz of nursing. To wean and see what happens over the next few cycles.

It can take up to 6 months to even a YEAR for your body to go back to normal after nursing.

And then of course there are those who are nursing around the clock and go back to normal at 6 weeks. Go figure.

i believe, also, that is what they will tell me. i cannot believe that it is the nursing causing all these problems. she only nurses a couple times a day. i don't know if i am able or willing to wean her yet.
