Nope, your not over analyzing at all, all of us do it!

Once you O, the follicle from where your eggie was released starts to produce progesterone. This is why your cm either dries up or becomes creamy or sticky (basically non fertile cm). Right now just relax (I know, easier said than done) but try not to stress to much, keep temping and hopefully you'll have crosshairs very soon. I know after I O I dry up pretty quickly, so if your cm has changed, its safe to say that you have O'ed. Don't be surprised if you do see patches of fertile cm after you have O (during your luteal phase). Its is not completely abnormal to see that. I hope you caught that eggie! (((((((Baby Vibes)))))))
