I really thought I had O'ed the other day, because my temp shot up. But now it just dropped down this morning. Is it possible that I did O and that this morning's temp was a fluke? I was pretty tired when I started taking my temp, and I fell back asleep and I woke up and my themometer was almost dropping out of the mouth. Then it went off like a minute later. After I got up and went into the next room and saw that my temp had dropped so much, I waited a minute and then checked it again sitting on the floor. It went up and when I put this second temp into FF, it says I O'ed. But of course, this temp may not be accurate since I had already been up and moved around.
Wdyt? I'm considering temping vaginally on my next cycle, since I know I sometimes breathe through my mouth and maybe that is screwing with my temps?!

It looks like you may have O'ed on CD19. Your temp for today most definitely can be off, once you get up and start moving about it alomost doesn't make sense to temp after that. What I would suggest you do (I'm not a big fan of disgarding temps, try to avoid it if you can), see what tomorrow's temp is. If your temp tomorrow falls within the range of the temps from the previous two days then disgard todays temp. If FF gives you crosshairs with tomorrows temp, I wouldn't worry too much about todays temp. Really its just a matter of playing around with it. HTH!

to the pp

I'm not a big fan of disregarding temps either, but sometimes there is one that just really doesn't fit in with what you KNOW your body is telling you. See how the next couple of days are, and if they are way up there like the previous two, I would consider it a fluke!

I think you'll need a few more temps to tell for sure, but it is looking like you might have O'd.

Can I have you ladies check out my chart again? Basically, yesterday, CD 30, my temp dropped below my coverline to 97.73. When I put this temp in, fertility friend takes away my coverline and says I didn't O. Even if I discard the temp. I am not sure that the temp is correct...I only had 4 hours sleep the night before, plus I was taking my temp almost an hour and a half early. (I had to go to work early this past weekend). So WDYT? Should I just leave this temp out? Also, is it okay that I only had 11 days after I supposedly Oed before I started a new cycle? Or does that mean I didn't O since it wasn't closer to 14?

If so override FF.

Oh no, that's okay. We aren't trying yet, we are actually preventing. I just got off BCP to get my cycles normal before we start TTC in early 2007. I am concerned that I may have some issues, so I just want to make sure that I am ABLE to O and find out when in myc cycle that I am Oing!
I really do not know if I Oed this cycle. I used to get ovulation pain back before I got on BCP and I did have some pain this past cycle but it did not feel like the same kind of pain, so IDK.
