So last night I had tons of ewcm, cramps, the works but my OPKs during the day showed a faint line. I decided to check again at 11pm because, well, why not? I knew it was coming soon. And low and behold, almost positive, so close to positive that I consider it a positive (no comment on why no BD'ing ). I woke again at 3am and had to go, tested again, same. Tested again this morning at 6am and it's positive. Now the thing is, chances are, at 2pm, I will not have a positive. My LH surges don't last all that long, so if I wasn't peeing at multiple times during the day, I could have missed it. proof that my POAS addiction has a purpose

In all seriousness, it is definitely good to be able to check several times a day if you are relying on OPK's or if you don't normally get a positive but an almost positive...

*sigh* He's tired and I am ready to scream...today is not a good day I think I have already ovulated and expect my temp to be up tomorrow. Probably missed the eggie this month (after going through the ordeal of taking clomid this is just a TAD frustrating).

Edited to add that my normal OPK test time (130-2pm) was way negative today. If I hadn't tested and was strictly relying on OPKs, I would have missed this O (albeit everything else, cm, cp, cramps point to it).

I agree with you. Mine is sometimes really short. I used to test only in the morning and I was almost never getting positives. Once I started testing a couple times a day once I suspected O, I caught my surge. This cycle I had an almost positive around 8 am and then a positive at 12 pm, and negative by 6 pm the same day. If I didn't test in the middle, I never would have gotten a positive.

yes we kissed and made up last night
Here is the progression pic - not as clear as I'd hoped but posting anyhow...

The 12/01 almost is positive but in comparing to the rest it isn't so I am counting it as a negative.

I am glad you and DH made up!! You were smart to test several times! I knew POAS addiction served a purpose!! Now I can justify my own addiction!! I hope you get a BFP really soon!
