This am I temped at the same time 7am. Well it said 96.2. Which is really low for even me, plus the heat was on 70(not 65 like it usually is) and I had 2 heavy blankets on. I didnt think anything about it, fell back asleep. When I wroke up at 9am I temped again it said 97.5. I was thinking it was the thermometer, so I went and got a new one. I put the 9am temp in, and it said I am 3DPO which is what I thought. But I am scard now, what if its not the thermometer? Should I not put a temp in at all? I may have been sleeping with my mouth open, and I know I was awake a few times last night. I dont know what to do, we are going to BD just to be safe, but if I dont put in a temp for this am and its high tomorrow they will still give me CD16 as my O date. But what happens if I am oing today. BTW I did an opk and its really light. HELP I am so confused!

Based on your CM and CP, I think you did O on CD 16 and are 3 DPO. If your sleep was interrupted that could have effected your temp. Also sleeping with more heat and blankets than normal can effect your temp.

Personally I have noticed the warmer it is in the room and the more clothes I have on, my temp seems lower. Which is weird because you would think it would be the opposite. This is my lone theory, which could be totally wrong but I think that when there is less heat in the room, your body works harder to maintain the internal temp, making your temps a little higher. When the heat is on and you are all bundled up you internal heat is lower because it is not working as hard to keep you warm. Granted that is just my theory from my own personal experience with temping, but it could be true.

Anyway, bottomline is changes in your room and sleeping habbit can effect your temp. However, I don't think you should worry because it does look like you already did O.
