I woke up early this a.m. (about 25 minutes early). I took my temp and it was 97.7. I laid in bed until the time I usually get up, about 20 minutes later and took my temp again and it was 97.5. Which temp should I use?

The second temp was more around the time I usually take it and I didn't talk or get up or anything like that....

Thanks ladies!!

You should use the first temp you took.....

A good Rule for charting to remember is to only take your temperature once, no matter if its early or late or right on time...you will only stress yourself out byt temping more than once....

So from now on only temp once and then put that therm away!!!!

You can take your temp 30min early or 30min late and it's okay. It should still be an accurate temp.

I would go with the first one.

OR if you want to use it and just adjust for normal wake up time.

Which would make it 97.8 and make a note of it.
