Ok, so I thought that by temping vaginally my erratic temps would be wiped out.....NOT SO! I've still got a very rocky chart and I have temped vaginally the entire cycle. Granted, a few of the temps were because I was traveling, not getting decent sleep etc, but these past several temps are really rocky, and I've been home and getting sleep. GRRRRRR

((((((HUGS))))) I am sorry its frustrating!

I would much rather see my temps at almost a flat line so I can see better what is going on.

I think part of the reason your temps look so erratic is that the temperature range on the chart is from 97.0 to 97.8. Really, your temps are only varying by 1/2 degree. That's normal for me. The fluctuation could be due environmental factors such as an extra blanket at night. I try to keep in mind that it's the overall trend I'm looking for. I'm guessing that you haven't ovulated yet, but I could be wrong. I noticed that you did have a lot of EWCM from days 16 to 25. Do you use OPK's?

I know how frustrating the whole temperature monitoring thing is. Usually each month I threaten to do away with the temping thing all together. I'm beginning to think this whole charting thing is about as accurate as astrology (hopefully I don't offend anyone with that comment).

Good luck!

Definitely don't give up on charting, no matter how frustrated you get. I've been charting for several years and I still get cycles that are completely wacked out and cycles that are text-book perfect (in regards to temps).

Looking at your chart, it looks like you timed your BDs well! Good luck!

Another thought.

When charting, your temps may seem up and down like crazy, but as long as you see a second level of temps after you O and sometimes a 3rd that is great. You want to look at your chart as an overall not from one temp to the next.

Its hard to NOT look at each temp though.
