Can you ladies help....I am about to O and I am not sure if maybe I O'ed yesterday. I didn't get a huge spike in temp but I was also up all night with DD who is all of a sudden having horrible nightmares!! I was up off and on from 2:30-6:30. I take my temps at 6am and did this morning but it was only after dozing for a short amount of time before the alarm woke me up to take my temp. I am going to keep BDing just in case...but I guess my question is...can lack of sleep really through your temp off?? I'm not sure if maybe I O'ed yesterday...my temp went up but not like it would normaly go up after I O. I already have the very tired headache going on and my day hasn't even begun!!!!

Yes, lack of sleep can affect your temps, especially if you're up and down out of bed tending to a child. The rule of thumb on a "good temp" is it needs to be taken after 3 solid hours of sleep and at the same time.

It's good that you took your temp regardless, but you may want to consider discarding it. I'll be interested in seeing what the other ladies think about this.

But looking at your chart, it looks like you timed it great! And to be safe, I think you definitely need to BD today as well.

Good luck!

I am already so exhauted right now!!! I called my doctor to see what I could do to help DD with her nightmares and they said for me to just keep tending to her and reassuring her everything will be okay. I hope this is just a phase that she will grow out of...I feel so bad for her!!!

It can effect your temp, but as long as you make a note of it on your chart that is all good!

CONGRATS! Looks like the O fairy came!!!

Now +++++++ vibes coming your way.
