Hi everyone Ok. So I went out today & got a BBT thermo & a mini calendar & a note pad so I can start recording all my little notes & such. (temperature, cm, cramps, spotting, etc...). I even joined fertilityfriend.com. I used to think I was a quick learner, but apparently not!!! LOL I'm having a hard time understanding the charts w/ the BBT & all. How can you look at it & tell what's normal, what isn't, and how do you know when you are supposed to or have ovulated? (Don't make fun of me I know I'm slow this morning)

well everyones chart is different because eath of us are different so you will probably have to chart a couple cycles to get an idea of what is normal for you. the day after you ovulate you will have a spike in temperature. FF needs three high temps to give you cross hairs and conferm ovulation. Charting will only tell you after you have ovulated but after a while you will probably be able to see a pattern in your charts and it wil give you a good idea when your about to ovulate. hope that helped some im shure someone else will be along shortly with some more info

normal temps from one person to the other can be very different.

The most important thing is to find what is normal for YOU and not compare it to others.

Like for me personally my pre O temps are very low compared to most, and they are always between 96.8 and 97.3 for the most part my post O temps are 97.5 to 98.0 and USUALLY go no higher if I am not pg. If I am pg they are in the low 98s.

Thats normal for me. But for someone else those temps would be low for them to be pg temps.
