I have been working a lot of 12 hour night shifts lately, so i haven't been able to temp. But last night i started checking my cervix and CM, do you think i will be fine for catching my O date?

You can chart that information, but without the temps to confirm O, its tough to say.

If you have the text book cycle where you have dry cm after AF, then sticky, then cream and then EWCM and then it dries up they you could guess close to when you o'ed.

It just depends on whats normal for you.

Is there anyway you can still temp even though you are working night shift?? What time do you usually sleep and wake up?

WHen i work night shifts, i don't have a set time on sleeping.....i will come home, do a few things, get tired, and go to bed......that could be lunch time, or it could be 9 am.......it varies.....and then i never sleep 8-10 hours int he day time........maybe 2-3......then get up, and go back to bed a couple of hours later. So its kinda hard to temp.

Well, you only need 3 hours of sleep time. But, if you can't get accurate temps, you could use OPK's, at least then you'd have a better window of fertile time, or at best you could bd when you have fertile cm. Good lUck!!!

i have the same problem ... 3 nights a week i work midnights and sleep schedule is off and varies...i decided this month to keep track of cm....so i am going to see how that goes and if it is the same each month

If its hard to temp you could use OPKs or a saliva monitor.
