I work at a hospital, and yesterday we had a young woman come in, and she was miscarrying at 10 weeks. I felt soooo sorry for her. She was having contraction like pain, to the point that she was crying. And the sad thing is too, she had just told her other children that she was having a baby; now she has to go back and tell them there won't be a baby. I can't imagine loosing a baby, whether you are 4 weeks pregnant, or where ever the lost is dring a pregnancy. It really hit me hard yesterday watching her in pain.......

That is really sad...

I had a miscarriage at 6 wks.. and it didn't help that the stupid doctor kept telling me it was implantation bleeding and not to worry.. they all acted like it was nothing. 2 days later they finally told me I was right all along.

No matter how far along you are it's still painful.. physically & emotionally.

I just had a miscarriage on Sunday at 7.5 weeks. It was physically painful. I am still having cramps. I never realized how common miscarriages are until I started TTC. They occure in 15-25% of known pregnancies. At least the doctor and nurses were very nice in the ER.

I had one 6 weeks 1 day a few cycles ago. We were fixing to tell everyone that weekend. I don't know how I would act if I had to retell them there was no baby. My new rule is....... To wait 'til the 1st trimester is over before I say anything.

I had one 2 days ago. We were going to tell my stepson and mother in law about the pregnancy after Christmas (stepson was flying down from Canada on 12/27, we were going to tell them then).

I found out on 12/4 that my pregnancy wasn't a viable one and had the D&C on the 12th...the day after our 5th wedding anniversary

My heart goes out to the young woman
