Great idea! I am gearing up to bake a bunch with the boys in the next few days. Today it's going to be sunny and 75, but rainy the rest of the week!
First, these I personally have not made yet (but am going to), but my friend who gave me the link said they are super cute, super easy, but super messy: Chocolate cherry gift mice!

And here is my standard sugar cookie recipe (for cutouts). I have a batch in the fridge now ready to roll out and cut! :

Cookie Monster Sugar Cookies

-Cream 3/4 c butter with 1 c sugar.
-Beat in 2 eggs and 1t vanilla.
-Add 2 1/2 c flour, 1t baking powder and a dash of salt (I mix these up in a separate bowl first)
-Chill 1 hour (or up to one week).
-Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
-Cut out shapes and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
-Reroll scraps and make more cookies.
-Bake at 400 at about 8 minutes.

To make chocolate dough: increase butter by 2 T, reduce flour to 2 cups and add 2/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder with the flour.

okay here's my double decker fudge recipe by Hersheys'

1C reeces peanut butter chips
1C hershey's semisweet chocolate chips
2 1/4 C sugar
1 jar (7oz) marshmallow creme
3/4 C evaporated milk
1/4 C buter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract

Line 8 in square pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. In medium bowl, place peanut butter chips. In second medum bowl, place chocolate chips. In heavy 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar, marshmalow creme, evaporated milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stiring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Immediately stir half the hot mixture (1 1/2 C) into peanut butter chips until chips are completely melted; quickly spread into prepared pan. Stir remaining hot mixture into chocolate chips until chips are completely melted. Quickly spread over top of peanut butter layer. Cool to room temperature; refrigerate until firm. Use foil to lift fudge out of pan; peel off foil. Cut into pieces. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Our FAVORITE traditional dessert is Graham Cracker pudding pie. My grandparents used to make it for us all the time. SO we have sort of made it into a tradition. All you need is Graham Crackers and Chocolate pudding.

Do a layer of graham crackers, then a layer of pudding. Keep adding layers until you end of witha layer of graham crackers on top. Fridge overnite and WahlAh!!!!!
