I thought today would be the day my temp jumped since it was creeping up yesterday- but not only did it go down- it went LOWER than ANY other day on my chart yet.
I don't understand, and now i'm just getting EXTREMELY frustrated.

Am I EVER going to ovulate? I thought the EWCM was good enough of a sign, the slight cramping, but nope- I was mistaken.
I just don't think it's normal to drop so low at this point.

Check out my chart and you'll see what I mean. It's insane.

IT looks like a pre-O dip to me so get to bd'ing.....And try to remember that you do not have any chart history so you cannot expect anything yet, The first 3 cycles are your learning cycles. You find out your patterns and when you usually ovulate...

IT is completely normal to have a huge dip right before ovulation....it happens to every woman every month....it may not shwo on their chart every month because the dip is due to an estrogen/lh surge that happens prior to ovualtion.....now i did say it happens to every woman every month as long as they ovulate......See the reason why it doesn't show on all charts is because the dip on the chart is dependant on when the surge happens,,,,so if the surge happens at 9 am...then you will NOT have a dip on your chart before ovulation because by the time you temp the next morning the side effects of the surge are gone (meaning the temp drop).....now if you had the surge at 9 p.m. you would have a huge dip on your chart b/c of the surge,,,,

Since it is your first month really charting try not to get frustrated and try to take it as a learning experience, make sure to bd at least every other day just to cover all bases or at least until you know for 100% sure you have ovulated....

Good Luck HOn

Thanks.

I guess it's just hard not to get frustrated when you see so many ladies ovulating on or around the 14th and here I am on day 20 and still waiting.

I'm hoping you're right and i'll O soon- if I don't... then I don't know WHAT to think!

I know what you mean, I myself am normally around day 14 ...this month it was later....But remember also that there are only maybe .05% of just the U.S. population represented on this message board kwim....Take a look at the BFP chart list ...only half of them maybe are day 14 ovulators.....Our bodies are unique to us and may differ each month....You will ovulate you just dont know when yet,....so think of all the fun bd'ing

I used to O around day 11, then I started Oing around day 14, but this cycle was probably day 16, and last cycle was day 16 or 17. When I conceived Mikey I Oed on day 18. It can vary a lot, and many different things can conrtibute to the variation.

Look at my chart...FF says no O, but I also chart on fertilitycircle and it says I Od on day 16. Just give it a little time.

I suppose all I can really do is cross my fingers for a temp spike in the morning.
Definitely can't force myself to ovulate, just have to sit back and wait for it.

Hard not to be curious what's going on with my body though
