So, last night my roommate decided to have a ridiculous party... No matter how much I complained no one one quiet down so basically I got ZERO sleep.
I've been waiting to O for quite some time and with yesterdays little temp jump, and the abundance of EWCM I was seeing- I was crossing my fingers that this was it.
This morning, after getting about.. an hours sleep at most.. I took my temp and it was DOWN- went down to 97.06 from 97.20 yesterday.
Needless to say I was really dissappointed.
I went back to sleep (it was finally quiet) and woke up after about 4 hours of sleep and out of curiousity took my temp again- 97.69.

I'm not sure which temp to use.
If I didn't O- I don't want to completely confuse my chart by marking the wrong temp.

Ugh.. i'm just so frustrated with this. It's so dissapointing not to know when i'm going to O, or if I did, or if I even will.

Check out my chart, tell me what you think, I could really use the input.

I think I would use the temp that was higher ONLY because you took it after having over 3 full hours of sleep. If your first temp was only after an hour of sleep, it probably wasn't accurate. So I would use the higher temp for now and just make a note. Just watch tomorrow's temp to see for sure.

But... that's just my opinion....

Good Luck!

opinions are what i'm looking for, thankyou

I suppose i'm nervous about the second temp because it could easily just be higher because I took it at a later time.

I'll put it in there and I guess if my temp is WAY down tomorrow, I can always discard the one from today.

Use your first temp and adjust your chart to sleep deprivation (not enough sleep) I believe it is under the "specifics"

That is true, but it was a big temp jump. Either wat\y... whatever temp you use I would just make a note so you can adjust it based of off tomorrow's temps.

sigh... I feel like this is just never going to happen for me.
temps are always up and then back down, always getting my hopes up.
CD22 and still no ovulation just doesn't seem right to me.

I just had SO much EWCM yesterday I thought for sure O would occur.

I feel your pain sista!! I really do! Try being in CD36 and no O! I'm going crazy! But.... maybe today is O day.... or maybe you did yesterday. You have all the classic symptoms of O. But.... I have heard that you will have less ewcm on O day. The ewcm is the fertile cm leading up to O. So you are not out of the game yet! Kepp your chin up... you will O! I bet you already have! Has your cm dried up any today? Just watch your temps tomorrow and over the next couple of days.... I bet your temp will jump back up!

I'll be stalking you!!!

So far today I haven't noticed ANY CM, but it's still early.

I'd be going crazy if I were you.

All the waiting, and BDing seriously tires me out just because i'm trying to cover all bases and doing it as much as possible haha.

Blah, these temps just need to go up and STAY UP!
stop comin' back down, that's not what we want to see.

Same.
I think the most frustrating thing is that there's nothing we can do about it. Our bodies will do what they want, when they want to do it- no matter what we have to say.

I'm just ridiculously tired of waiting for this to happen, and beginning to feel like it's just not going to.

Simple question:
even though my temp went down a bit this morning, could I still have ovulated?

Can you use the temp corrector and use the 2nd temp? I think that would be the most accurate.

Considering my temp today was just as low as the one I took with only one hour of sleep, i'm guessing that one was the more accurate of the two (unfortunatey).
just wondering if either of those are high enough to even be considered ovulation.

I think you are Oing today. CM often dries up the day of O. Also, the low temp would indicated O day as well. Hang in there. I am no expert but I have been charting for 8 months so i am just sharing my experience.

I sure hope you're right.
I guess we'll see what my temp in the morning is.
I gave in and went out and bought OPKs, it won't speed up the process- but at least i'll have a better idea of when it happens.

I've had weird CM today, not EWCM.. just very strange. Maybe the change means something good?

Hang in there. Soimetimes my CM dries up the day before O. We are not machines and I have finally accepted that. It helps to not get frustrated.
