my sister is 19 weeks pregnant and they found this on the back of the babies neck, it is usually associated with chromosomal disorders like down syndrome. she goes in for an amnio on wed. we really need prayers that the cystic hygroma will shrink and the baby will be fine.

updated to say thanks for all your prayers, please continue to pray as the next 48 hours are the most important in terms of miscarriage and amnio.

my sister asked doc before the amnio if they were going to check the cysts, there were two, they said well they couldn't have done much in a week. guess what he couldn't find them. he thought he maybe found one but they are definitely smaller. sis told the doc, "God- did that" and he said, "can't argue with that." he also said, " believe it or not your doc and nurse pray for you to." so praise the Lord, for his healing and mercy" he is an awesome God.

Yes HE is!!!!!! That's great news....but I'll be keeping your sis and baby in my prayers. When do they get the amnio results back?
