Afternoon ladies,
I have a query that I hoped someone might be able to help with. I'm so pleased I just found this board! I'm quite new to charting, as DH and I plan to start TTC our first this month, so I've only been charting for a couple of cycles.
Here's my dilemma: on Fertility Friend, the advanced ovulation detector is putting the day I ovulated as cycle day 17. I think that this is based on the temperatures I've recorded. However, my CM (accompanied by quite a dramtic dip) suggests to me that I ovulated on cycle day 16.
Because of it being December, with a fair few late-nighters and more than a couple of glasses of bubbly, my temperatures have been quite erratic. And I've not been great at recording them this cycle (I'm only semi-charting at the moment to get an idea of my cycles. With my new cycle, I'm planning to be much more thorough.).
So is it more reliable to go with temps or CM? If I go with CM, then I have no bi-phasic chart (as before and after O temps are pretty similar). Although, even if I take cycle day 17 to be the one I ovulated on, there's not much in the way of low temps before that.

Or is this chart just suggesting an anovulatory cycle? I'm hoping for AF tomorrow, so I can move on to a new chart, but I'm impatient and want to know what's going on!!!
Any help much appreciated. And I'm sorry for having rambled on for so long.
Thanks,
Nichola
