Faster thermometer?

I have a really weak bladder any more. This slow thermometer is starting to get to me. When I wake up in the morning I always have to go potty right away. With this slow thermometer I always sit there crossing my legs trying to hold it or getting up and just going anyway with the thermometer in my mouth. This thing takes like 5 minutes to read. Does anyone know of any faster thermometers?

What brand are you using? I use a BD and it takes about 30 seconds. If it is colder in my room it will take a little longer. I had a non BBT thermometer that took only 9 seconds, but it would give low readings if the room was cold, so I switched to a BBT one.

It's just the Walgreen's brand BBT thermometer. I think I am going to look into a BD thermometer.

I used one from Walgreens then switched to one made by 1st years. It takes 21 seconds orally.

I have the Walgreens brand too and you're right, you just about pee your pants sitting there waiting for it, lol!

I have no idea what brand mine is, you probably wouldn't be able to get it over there anyway ... but it takes 5-30 seconds to take the temp. Some days if my temp is really stable its done real quick.

I just wanted to say that I have the Walgreens therm, and it is awful. It goes so slow, that I think it isn't working sometimes. I have seen therm. at Wal-Mart, but I am not sure which one to get.

What brand is it?

I have one that is the BD brand, its purple and it takes less than a minute.

It has a big digital read out and it lights up so I can see the temp in the dark.

I got it at either Target or Walmart.

When you are looking at them look for one that says rapid read or something like that I think.
