As to further my knowledge about cm...

I had a BM the other day. The night before we has BDed. So when I had the BM, when I wipe, I get the slimy stuff. I've asked this before, so I think I'm right by saying it was EWCM. But COULD it have been semen from the night before? I wish I could understand this CM stuff coming from my body.

Sounds like EWCM to me....i dunno about you, but after bding, I'm usually cleaned out by the next day

I guess it COULD have been something from the night before. I mean, if you didn't wipe up afterward and slept REALLY still, it could have stuck around longer than normal.

But I doubt it. I'd call it EWCM too.

Okay, if you feel like playing with it....lol....there's is something about dropping it in water and if it floats I think it's is EWCM Maybe someone can elaborate on that.

Semen in water will break down. It was slimy though. I don't think of the semen of being slimy like snot slimy.

So do we think I should add this to my chart?

When we BD it takes about 24 hours to get all of him outta me. So like she said in the water, if its him it will float and break up if its ewcm it will sink and not break up.

For myself personally, I don't count the stuff in the morning after BDing- I wait til later in the day. Seemed to work well for me!
If i'm still having what looks like EWCM towards mid-day and nighttime, I mark it as EWCM. Don't wanna miss a fertile day!

It sounds like it could have been EWCM.

Semen is usually white/cloudy.

In my natural family planning book it says that seminal residue will be much LESS stretchy than EWCM. It usually breaks if you try to stretch it. I have a very hard time telling the difference, and I could have some left over the next day for sure. A BM can force stuff from pretty far up there out, so I think it could possibly be residue. I never knew the "Will it Float" thing! I am excited to have learned that!!!!!
