Did we already discuss this and I missed it?
I'm guessing I'm a little late in my cycle to be getting ewcm... but hard to say for sure!!! It's hard to chart our cm when it could be ewcm or dh's semen.... any way to tell?

From what I understand- Semen doesn't stretch as much as EWCM, about a cenimeter if that, and then breaks. EWCM stretches much farther.
The way I always did it was.. if I BDed the night before- I didn't count the CM I had first thing in the morning incase it was mixed with semen and confused me. If I had EWCM anytime after the first time I checked, I marked it as that. Regardless of whether it TRUELY is EWCM or semen, you don't want to miss a fertile day

Semen and CM are completely different in texture
If you take CM and rub it on the back of your hand,it blends right into your skin just like moisturizer and doesnt leave anything behind. If its semen, you will notice right away that its very sticky, hard to rub in and it leaves a shine to your skin and makes it feel tight kwim? Also, when it dries,it leaves a thin white crust behind, just like glue (but you dont have to wait for that part, the stickiness tells all).
This is easier than putting cm in water and its really not gross at all because you only need a tiny amount (a fingertip). Its the easiest and most effective way of knowing whats what.

I agree that it seeme maybe you O'd later than FF said, like CD 18 or so, around the time of the second temp rise. Which would seem right if you thought you had EWCM yesterday.

Reading all of this, now I know it was ewcm... I guess now we have to see I sustain high temps for a couple more days to confirm O. I think this would be bad for me, because my cycles are usually short 22-26 days! That would mean my LP is too short!!!
Well, I won't worry... I'll just see what happens with temps.
Curious, has anyone's chart on FF ever had dotted lines on their crosshairs, then had FF change and say you O'd later?

Semen is usually white, not clear and it doesn't stretch like EWCM does.

i always check by taking some between my thumb and finger and pulling them apart. If it stretches, then it is EWCM, if it is Semen, it will not stretch.
Good luck to you!!!

It still could be ewcm, some ladies get a reappearance of fertile cm around AF time. I agree with FF that you O'd on cd 14 though, a lot of us get dips in temps around 3 or 4 dpo, not sure why but if you go stalking you'll find a few examples of it. Don't count yourself out yet either, not until the witch shows as perhaps your cycle is going to be a little different this month.

Well, I'm spotting tonight. Looks like a 24 or 25 day cycle for me this month.
I'm kinda glad AF is coming so we can really get down to it, lol. DH is really excited, he likes all the attention ahahhahahahha!!!
