I can only assume that temping at different time can make your chart inacurate but what about this: If I wake up to pee an hour or so before actually getting up and then I temp when I am supposed to (when I am "scheduled" to get up) will that throw off my chart as well?

Well, you are suppose to get 3 consecutive hours of sleep before you temp for it to be accurate. If I wake up and have to go potty I try and hold it so I don't get up. Now FF will allow you to take your temp 30min early or 30min later than your "actual" time and still be an accurate temp.

If you go to the toilet an hour before you temp then your temp will be a little off.I went to the toilet 45minutes before temping once and had to discard my temp because it was ALOT higher than usual.
Iv noticed that once Im out of bed (even if its only for a few moments),my temps rise ans stay high all day.

I generally get up an hour before I'm actually "up" to pee, but I've started temping at THAT time. Then I just lounge in bed for an hour. So I have two alarms ... my cell phone wakes me up if the pee demon hasn't, so I can temp at the same time every day, and then the alarm clock gets me out of bed the second time. DF thinks it's overkill but he never gets up LATE anymore!

It works well.

I would suggest trying temping at both to see if it makes a difference to your temps. I am often in your situation and I read somewhere that for some women it doesn't make a difference to their temps if they're only up and a bout for a minute or two. So I did that as a trial and they're right, it made absolutely no difference to my temps.

I'm one of those women who get up to pee as well! I alway still temp at my normal waking time, and my temps are always consistent. Then again, I have been temping for 2 years, and so I know what to look for.
HTH!

If you wake an hour or so before your normal time temp before you get up and you can adjust your temp.

If you wake up early you add .1 degree for every half hour early, and if you wake up late, then i you subtract .1 degree for every half hour late\.
