I read in the FF help section that the green is supposed to show when you most likely ovulated and the pink is when you should expect to see AF...but that doesn't coincide with the rest of my data right? I am so confused...can someone please help me?

Thanks!

The boxes are based on what you put in for cycle length when you set up your account.

So that first cycle, the green boxes are forecasted possible O dates, set about 14 days before the forecasted AF date.

Later it will factor in all the cycles you've charted.

It's not really supposed to coincide with the rest of your data because that was a prediction based on past fertility, while the data you're charting is a picture of your current fertility. If your cycles are at all regular it will eventually correct the predictions so that you'll likely O and start AF close to the green and pink boxes.

But right now they have NOTHING to do with what you're charting. Just ignore them.

To further what pp above said. Once you have been charting for months, it will show the potential O & AF dates based on your past cycles. Mine are always 100% correct
HTH!
