I woke up this morning at 5:00 to pee (sorry if TMI) and took my temp. At that time it was 97.62. When I woke up officially for the morning at 8:00 my temp was 98.51! Why the difference? Which one should I use? This makes a big difference on my chart right now (i think )

Thanks for your help

BTW...my normal tem time is 6:30-7:00.

I'd use the earlier one, you could either leave it as is and FF will use the white circle to tell you that the time was different or you could use FF to correct the temp for you. The later temp is higher 1) because of movement, 2) having less sleep than the other one and 3) because its later in the day and the ambient temperature is actually higher.

I would go with the earlier one for a few reasons. One you had more sleep, two it is closer to your regular time and three your body temp raises by about 1 tenth (.1) for every half on hour past your waking time. This is because your body is preparing to wake up, or is used to being up so it acts like you are awake even if you are not.

You could adjust your temp to the 97.92 and mark disturbance on your chart.

I'd use the first temp. Why does your chart have 98.8 as your temp today???
