Will be starting to chart......

I talked to DH and he is ok with me charting. I still do not get it....
Since today AF is due and no show so far.....when do I start??

You start when your period arrives. Under the sticky's there is some info you can read on. Or you can go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com and read the info there.

Thanks that is what I did. I have registered and am taking the online course type thing.

I guess I have to wait til AF shows.

Or should I temp anyway that way if Af does show I will have a temp anyway???

Why not start now? Then you can get the hang of it before your new cycle starts. It won't hurt to start now...plus, it's fun!

But how do I chart it????? CD 1 won't be my AF time yet?????

WEll if you are using the Fertility Friend web site, then just enter your first day as the first day from your last cycle (if you know it) then it will start charting from your last period and you can just skip ahead to today.

Once your AF comes, then the program will start a new cycle for you. That's what I did.

But if you don't know what day you started last time, then that won't work and you have to wait for AF.

Also, you should maybe do a Pregnancy test today or tomorrow...then you can rule that out and wait for AF...otherwise, you could be charting, and also be prego!

True. I am still hoping for a magical BFP but was negative a couple days ago. Still have not had AF cramps. But we will see. I did put in my last cycle start date. 12/30/2006.....I guess I will take my temp and write it down. I am thinking if AF does not show by tomorrow or Sunday I will take a test. I would love to not have to chart and be pg right now.

So, how long will it take for the fertility friend to decide when my O date is??? If i start recording my temps will it automatically pick?

It takes all the signs you have plus your temps and gets the ovulation date. Usually right before O you have a drastic temp drop and the it will slowly rise. If you ahve three high temps after the drop, than FF will give you crosshairs. It seems complicated at fiorst, but it really isnt. All you really have to do is take your temp. every morning at the same time.. Than put your temp and CM in on FF. Thats it!!!! You can also link your chart to your siggy, so the other girls can help you read it.
