Hmmm. AF i think is here....pinkish blood (normal for me) we will see by the end of the day. It is right on time i guess. but my question is....

I just started charting what is the norm for most women when AF is present?? I was at 97.72 this morning...

And boy do those dang thermometers take forever.

97.2 is a normal pre-o temp.

So, I should not be concerned about the temp?? Sounds a bit higher then some girls....
And after AF what should I be looking for??? Drop in temp, and then up???

Yes you will have a dip before you O and then a spike. I wouldn't worry about the 97.2 temp being high. Everyone is different and it will probably go down a bit since you just started today. I wish my temps were like that! My pre O temps are rediculously low! Have you signed up for the FF tutorial? It will answer a lot of those kinds of questions.

Yes I have. They only let you do one lesson a day. thanks. So, when you see the drop around for me....the 12 or so I am guessing....(should ovulate around 14th)...that is the time to BD or no???

Sorry I did say you get a dip before you O but actually FF gives you crosshairs ON the day of the dip. After the dip if you have 3 consecutive days of higher temps, you should consider the day OF the dip as your O day. So really you don't know until it happens so until you know your average Oday then I would start BDing around CD12 and keep going until you get crosshairs. Does that make sense? Sorry if I am confusing!

Thanks. I understand. So, around that time look for a dip but BD anyway. LOL I will tell DH we need to BD on the 12th, 14, and 15th or something like that. Thanks

You can do more than one "lesson" a day! Just click on "Charting eBook" on the home page, and then click the option "for online reading". (Or if you're on your chart page click Help/Info, Charting eBook, online reading.) You can go through the whole thing as fast as you want. You just have to wait to take the quizzes is all!

It is a great source of info and would answer a lot of your questions, I bet.

Everyone has their own "normal" pre-O and post-O temps. For me I tend to be lower than many. My pre-O temps are usually anywhere from 96.6 to 97.3 after I o my temps tend to be around 97.5 to 97.9.

If I am pg they will be in the 98.0s. But that is not ALL the time.
