Yes, I agree with FF ... so far. If your temps go back down and it takes away your crosshairs, start using the O tests again. You can gear up to O and not actually release an egg ... and since it
just gave you crosshairs there's still plenty of time for your temps to show that it was a false alarm.
But for now I'm assuming that you did, in fact, ovulate on CD 15.
You got the positive OPK the day before O. If you BD that night (the night you got the +) you're fine.
You're not trying to BD the day
of ovulation, really. You're trying to get as much in as possible before the egg is ever released, so that the sperm are kind of sitting around waiting. The egg can die within 24 hours so trying to time sex
exactly to ovulation won't catch the egg. You can't pinpoint ovulation exactly anyway. The best you can figure is a probable day.
And your OPK isn't supposed to be positive for more than one or (maybe) two days ... that's nothing to worry about. You're testing for a surge in a certain hormone, which peaks 24-36 hours before the egg is released. If your OPKS were almost always positive you'd need to see a doc ... that's not normal. The way yours worked
is. Most women, if they test later that
same day, will get a negative. The surge doesn't last long.
I'm not sure why you're confused.
