I just wanted to say hello to everybody. Some may remember me, some may not. I was a heavy poster a few months ago, but I was sucked into a downward spiral of depression, and just haven't been posting anywhere. With work on top of all of my emotions, I just didn't have the energy to post about TTC too. We still haven't made any progress, last cycle I didn't ovulate at all, and then on top of it all I had my period for over two weeks.... It sucked! angry.gif

I did have bloodwork drawn, 12 vials in total. My new Dr. was shocked that my previous ob/gyn didn't run these tests after my miscarriage. So, a couple weeks after bloodwork was drawn I got the results, everything was normal with the exception of one gene. Seems I have one copy of the MTHFR gene (which appears to be fairly common), so now she has me on one 81mg baby aspirin a day on top of the 1mg of folic acid, and back on the prescription prenatal vitamins. The other Dr. told me that the over the counter ones were fine, but this Dr. has decided that the Prenate Elite brand has more vitamins and nutrients than the otc ones do. I did look at the ingredients and they do have more to offer, so we'll see what happens.

Dan and I went away earlier this month for a few nights to a couples only resort, it was just what we needed! This trip allowed us to stop thinking about TTC, and just have fun, and that's exactly what we did. It seems as though things got better with my depression and we're back on track!

I continue to chart, I need to in order to know my cycle, and understand what's going on. So, I continue to chart, but I'm trying not to over-analyze everything at the same time! ...easier said than done as you all know!

Anyway, that's where I've been, and why I've been missing. I hope to become more regular again and see us all graduate into a ddc!

~Gail
