Please, I really need everyone's help here. I have no idea what is going on. My chart has been doing really well. BUT there was a very slight drop. From the average 99.0 to 98.9.

I started light spotting late yesterday afternoon that is brown and pinkish. I have endometriosis and Diffuse Adenomyosis, so I'm usually GUSHING imediately. I have barely been able to fill the blue area on the pad much less from front to back like I usually do.

I have had several pg symptoms as well. Everything from lower abdominal cramping to colostrum coming from my nipples. Things that I have NEVER experienced with AF/PMS. This has been going on for 2 weeks.

The weird thing is, my temp has been fluctuating from 99.2, 99.0. to 98.9. Then 98.6 back up to 99.9.

Any ideas what is happening? Is this really AF? sad.gif

Have you been temping throughout your whole cycle, or just started? It's hard to know for sure what's happening without a full cycle of temps, but temps in the high 98's are high temps. The spotting could be implantation. Good Luck!

If 99 or 98.9 are high temps for you then I would say that it is IB. Wait a couple of days before you test as HCG only starts to be produced when IB occurs.

Thank you guys so much! I have been feeling so defeated. You ladies really rally and I appreciate it.

My temps are usually 98.2 or lower. For 14 consecutive days there were in the 99's. Yesterday and today, my temps are back up to 99.0 from 98.6 when the bleeding started.

I really hope that this is IB. But I thought you could barely see IB?

Since my periods are usually so heavy from the Endo and such, is that why this bleeding is the way it is? I thought implantation bleeding didn't necessitate the use of a real pad or a tampon.

Not to sound gross, but I can have the same pad for about 3 hours (running a little experiment) and it still doesn't cover the little blue patch. The same can almost be said for using a tampon. It's not completely full, but there aren't any dry spots either.

Sorry if this is TMI, but my fiance turns paler than what I thought was humanly possible when i start talking about the specifics. Poor baby.

Here's my chart:

IB isn't really that normal but for those that experience it can be anything from a tiny little pink spot through to something that can be considered a period. The one common thing that seems to be coming through about all of this is the fact that it is different to what they normally experience and it doesn't follow the light-heavy-light pattern. It also normally is seen anywhere between 6 - 14DPO with the later date the more common one, and therefore it is frequently mistaken as AF.

Just looking at your chart, I'm not sure if it actually was IB or AF though, it was a more significant drop then I visualised in my head so I guess we'll just have to sit back and see if your temps do manage to stay up high again or not. If they stay up another day or two then its time to test. Good luck!!!!

So heres the update for today.........I have not bled since Friday night. It's more every time I wipe there is pink mucous like stringy stuff. HOWEVER, there have been clots, which I always have. But these have been no where as big.

My breasts are still huge and I still have all other symptoms, with the inclusion of wanting to jump my DF for a thorough BD..he's a little shook up about that.

Test result : BFN!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr

sorry hun, keep your head up, it could still be too early to test if that was implantation. Perhaps you should make an appointment with your doc for some bloodwork to be taken so that you can find out for sure what is going on. Good luck!

Well everyone.....Went back to my old OB/GYN today for a full work-up. She delivered my son and has been with me through surgery and everything else. And let me tell you, it was worth the hour drive back to my old neighborhood to see her.

My blood test was Negative for pregnancy. The beta result was less than 2. I also had a sonogram and there was nothing there.

HOWEVER! What she did tell me was that it was really too early to see or get a result for anything since I would only be 4 weeks if i were indeed pregnant. She also told me that she had no good explanation for the symptoms I am feeling, but believes me when I say that I am experiencing them. So she wants me to wait another 2 weeks to test at home since my son didn't show up in blood or urine until I was 8 weeks along...

SHE ALSO SAID, that she was not convinced that the spotting I had last week was my period. She believes that if I dont get my period within the next 2 weeks that I should go back for another beta. She even wrote me a prescription for it and didn't date it so that I could hold onto it.

BEST of all, she felt that the other GYN was full of crap about sending me to a fertility doctor. That while my endo and adenomyosis make it difficult and might make me take a little longer than others, the ultrasound looked very good and my ovaries (i have PCOS) have never looked better.

So all in all, while I was disappointed not to see a bean in there, I left feeling a lot more confident about myself and that I am not just imagining things. It has done a lot to restore my faith.

So....I will not go silently into any good night.

To be continued... Thanks to all who responded. Babydust to us all.
