This is my first month charting. This charting site uses statistics to analyize when a person has o'ed.
My periods are 35 days apart, and I've read a woman ovulates 14 days before her period. That means I will O on CD21, right? Well, my chart says I o'ed on CD12. Are they wrong? I'm going to try and link to my chart.

My last cycle was also exactly 1 week late last time. If it hadn't been late, I would have O'ed on the day they said I did. Could it be that I'm O'ing on time and my period was just off this one time?

Not everyone has a 14 day luteal phase, the time between O and the beginning of the next cycle. Mine is from 11-13 days. So you may O on CD 12 and then have a longer LP. Also, the day that you O can vary a lot. I O anywhere from CD 12 to CD18, you just never know.

Without deeing your chart I can't say for sure if I agree with the program or not.

Ok. I fixed my link. I have to admit that I'm not good with checking my CM. I don't know why. I think I get frustrated because what I think my CM looks like is not in the description.

Every cycle is unique, so it's most accurate to evaluate your fertility as it happens instead of hoping it will follow the pattern of previous cycles. Even the most regular woman will ovulate earlier or later in her cycle from time to time.

I understand about the mucus, Fertility Friend doesn't give a very good list of options at all. There are many, many more kinds of mucus that women observe.
