I know not everyones chart will look alike but mine seems to look very weird. I have had a rough past couple days....stomach problems....husband with Shingles...and so on.....so not sleeping great right now. I have had a couple days with higher temps and do not know why....and today I got up with DH (he was in pain) and took a drink around 2:30 am. Took my temp at 5 am. Did not really sleep well after 2:30 am. He was tosing and turning and such. Fell alseep for maybe an hour. But laid still and relaxed. I am worried however that....what if this is my dip before Oing.....I have a 28 day cycle. Is that odd?? I forgot to bring my OPK to work and check. Any advice???

To me, it seems like you are still OK. Try not to worry about what your chat looks like yet. I have the same problem. Every night I can't wait to wake up and take my temp and see it on my chart because I'm very anxious to see when I O and if I'm normal and everything.

I think it's just cuz we are new. Also, you are under some stress right now...you aren't sleeping well...looks like you may have been a little sick yourself. So your up and down temps are probably because of that.

I don't think you are dipping before O because your CM does not indicate that. Usually you get at least creamy a few days before O. So I think you are OK (I'm no expert)

Don't worry, if anything, you may get a late O because of what is happening in your life right now. In your case that could be nice, so DH can recover before you O. Once you do your temps should not be going up and down anymore, so you will know.

One more thing...don't worry too much about missing it this month. Give yourself a break! You just started charting so you unfamiliar with yourself yet. If you miss it, you will get another chance in a few weeks

Don't worry, be happy!

Don't worry about other charts. Every woman has her own unique mucus patterns and temperatures. And with the same woman, every cycle is unique too! Just keep charting and you will soon learn what it normal for you, and only you!

Thank you girls. You are wonderful. I will start using my OPKs tonight maybe tomorrow. To make sure. I am just having a tough time with my tummy problem. Go figure when I really want it all is going down hill to prevent it.

If you have typical 28 day cycles, you are okay... you are still pre-O. Assuming you have a normal LP you should O on or around CD 14.

Agreed. I am going to use the OPKs today. I will try to use one a day. May need to go buy more.

I think you are still pretty early in your cycle. I see a lot of charts go up & down like that preO.

I think that even if you don't get that perfect 3 hour sleep, you will see a change in temp after you O! Also, monitor your cm, aches and pains, and opks if you can and they will also help you pinpoint O or when you are going to O. Temps, CM, OPK's, aches and pains individaually are all just pieces. IT's best to look at them all together as a whole.

Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. I've been temping/charting since June of '06 and just now understanding how my body feels when it's getting ready to O! Good Luck!!!!
