with the wet CM today and yesterday, you may be getting ready to O now. How long are your cycles when you are not on BC? If you tend to have longer ones about more than 30 days, it is possible that you O later.
Keep in mind it sometimes takes a while for things to get right after coming off BC.

It has been 8 yrs since I have not been on birth control but from what I remember they were always normal, I never had any problems.

Hmm, I guess you will hjust have to wait and see. Normal can mean a lot of things, and a 34 day cycle would not be considered abnormal, so if you have a longer cycle it is possible to O later.

Is it possible at all that you are already Pregnant? I know that may sound rediculous, but I just overlayed my chart with yours, and your lowest temp is higher than my highest. As a matter of fact, your temps look like they would be my luteal phase temps...
I know not everyone has the same Base temperature, maybe mine is just a lot lower than yours...but hey, just thought I'd ask.
Try overlaying our charts...you'll see what I mean.

I don't think so, long story short we did not have maternity coverage on ins until jan 1st so last cycle when I was off b/c we did not have sex until the beginning of Jan and I got my period right on time 28 days-- is it possible that I already ovulated where my temp spike was?

Well, honestly...I don't think so. You chart all by itself looks preovulatory to me. But who knows! Just wait and see (I know I hate hearing those words, but sometimes that's the only answer)

It's possible, but there is no way to know until the cycle is actually over.
I've ovulated as late as CD23, CD54, CD82 before. It's not annovulatory until it's over.

Would it be pointless to go and get an OPK now?

Well I wouldn't say annovulatory yet. It looks like maybe with the temp jump that you could have JUST oed??
