So, my temps have been dropping these past couple of days, and I'm wondering if I really did O when I have my crosshairs Last cycle I didn't ovulate at all, and then it was followed by a super long period (YUCK)! Now, I'm beginning to wonder if I've O'd this month or not. Please take a look and tell me what you think? At first I was really excited, because my overlay at 3DPO with this chart and the chart when I did get a BFP was almost exact, and then the temps started going down, I'm just so confused!

Just so you know, the two open circles are because: the first, because I was sleep deprived, and didn't get three hours of decent sleep before temping, and the second is because it was taken about an hour later than normal.

I appreciate any input everybody has! Thanks!

That spotting right after your fertile mucus would indicate withdrawal. Your mucus progressed and became more fertile - meaning your hormones were rising in an attempt to ovulate. Then they came crashing down, it produced spotting.

Looks like a lutenized unruptured follicle (LUF). Basically, the ova doesn't rupture through the ovary and turns into a little cyst instead. The cyst can produce just enough progesterone to raise your temps, but not enough to keep them high. You might have a very short or a very long LP as a result. In laymen's terms, a crappy ovulation. Sorry!

Spotting WITH mucus is highly fertile, it's a good thing. It means hormone levels are high. Spotting 7-10 days after conception is a good thing, implantation bleeding. Spotting right after the mucus dries up means your hormones crashed and something went wrong with the ovulatory process - either it was interrupted completely and you might try again later, or it was incomplete and you will not try again, but will bleed eventually. In this case, I think the second.

Honestly with looking at your temps I would have to say no you haven't O'ed. Your CM seemed to point to that you were going to, and then you did have a temp rise, but now your temps are much lower again.

I had that happen several times in my annovulatory cycles.

Have you had any testing from your doc?

I agree with Shawna & Jenn. I am thinking that you haven't ovulated.
