this isnt worth it. I cant just be like a normal person and just have sex. I have to rely on this darn temperature crap because my SO doesnt produce sperm.
I need to get this under control so that I can do the IUI.

I feel like its not even worth it anymore.

everything happened like I should ovulate.
I broke out,I got the cramps, bloated,CM,etc but it didnt just dry up afterwards it stayed watery for a couple days after the stretchy stuff. my temperature dropped but didnt go up really then it dropped again today.

I cant sleep because I keep thinking about what time I need to take my temperature, I couldnt do it at the same time every morning until recently .then im not sleeping because I'm thinking too hard about it.

Seriously this isnt worth it! all my levels are fine and the ultrasound last week showed the egg waiting to be released.

did my crappy temp habits just miss it??

Firstly...don't be so hard on yourself! You know I think that sometimes we get frustrated with our body because we want to have "the perfect chart". Before we started to chart, or even knew about it, we just figured whatever will be will be. If we get preggo then heck, looks like we got lucky. If not...well try again.

But now with charting it's amost like you understand yourself too well. You pay attention to every little sign and overanlyze every cramp. You lie awake hoping tomorrow your temp will rise, or stay up, or whatever. I think charting is awsome, but the drawback of knowledge is knowledge itself! KWIM?

At any rate, you should calm down. You already know thata stressing out and obsessing only leads to problems reading your signs.

You are totally NORMAL. And I think when we start charting, it just gives us ONE MORE THING to criticize ourself about. Chin up, lots of women have been in your shoes and still got BFPs! You will too. You just need to be patient. Try to look at charting as a way to understand yourself better rather than a way to get pregnant. That way, you take the pressure off.

And you know, if you are feeling really frustrated and upset, why not take a month off for a break from baby making and charting and just enjoy DTD for what it is between the two of you. And then take another go at it once you feel up to it

I hope this helps...You can PM me anytime if you need support!

well its not so easy as just enjoying DTD considering all that is for us is pleasure. my SO cannot have babies so we have to chart so I know when to get the IUI with the donor sperm.

its only my first month charting and its overwhelming I'm really thinking its not worth it to have another kid.
Why should I go through all this and spend all this money when I conceived my daughter without even trying?

i feel like just cheating on my SO to get pregnant since it feels like my temperatures wont tell me when to get the IUI.

I see! oops... I didn't fully understand what was happening. With the sperm donor I mean.

Well, I looked at your chart, and you still have time to O. Like I said, if your stressed it can get messed up. I think you haven't O'd yet.

Hey, if you look at my chart, I haven't O'd yet either! so it's not to late.

Also, if you feel like it's not worth it to have a baby like this, what is the story of why you are trying to?
Does your SO want you to? Give a little more detail...if you can.

I'm sorry you feel so crappy. I hope you can get some helpful advice on here!

I'm just overwhelmed with the whole concept. Im not concerned about the ovulation I'm concerned about my ability to catch it.

I know I have plenty of time but I cant get the hang of it all at the same time.

its way too overwhelming to do this all. I'm supposed to bring my chart to the fertility clinic on the 15th and hes going to look over it and tell me when to do the OPK testing.

If my temps are all over the place because I cant seem to get into the groove he wont be able to figure it out.

I'm going to start fresh next cycle and temp at the same time everyday.

we arent planning on doing the IUI for a few months because i want to get a feel for all this first .

Its just so much work when it was so easy to get pregnant with my ex.

I guess so! Poor dear.

You should get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I got it used on Amazon.com for like $18.00

Anyways, it's about charting, and temping...but there is extensive info in there for people like yourself who have hard circumstances to overcome. There is a bunch of solutions that you may want to try before you go to any major extremes.

At any rate, I think you would find it...enlightening.

Good luck to you.

Hey sweetie! I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Are you using opk's? That would help you alot to know when you are going to O. You've probably heard this before, but the more you stress, the later you will O. I don't know that much about IUI, but do you do the IUI before O? or after O? I hope you are feeling better. I'm sorry I'm not that much help, just wanted u to know we are all here for you. You can pm me anytime.
