FF had more options for types on CM. I hate chrating EWCM when it was not true EWCM, but they don't have a selection for just stretchy, or different colors. Sigh, am I the only one that feels they could ahve a few more options and make our lives easier?

I agree!! I was just thinking that the other day, because I was torn if it really was EWCM or just stretchy!

If it's slippery then it's concidered EW, if it's watery then put water. I'm not the expert on cm, but if it's stretchy then I believe it is EW. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ummmmm what colors is your cm? I'm hoping not neon blue! J/K. If it's spotting then you can mark E or W and spotting.

Editting to say that up in the Getting started sticky it has info for charting your cm. Here's what I'm copy and pasteing for you ladies.

watery to ewcm (eggwhite cervical mucuos) this is your most fertile cervical fluid and is the most condusive to sperm, it should be strechy and clear/mildy white

I hope that helps, but there's lots more to read if you want. Good luck!

THe problem is not, not knowing what I am looking at, it is knowing too much. Yesterday my CM was stretchy, but yellowish, which is the beginning of fertile CM, but not the most fertile for me. I don't like to put EW until it is clear, stretchy and looks like actual egg whites, that is my MOST fertile, and for future referecne to compare charts I like to be more specific than the software allows.

I gues what I really need to do is start charting in my book again, where I can put any description I want, and keep those for reference. And use FF to back up my own interpretation.
