Hello everyone. I poseted this in ttc but then found this message board:

I have a question about bbt charting. This is my first month charting. THe first part of my cycle was pretty mountain peaky, up and down, but never higher then 36.7 until I rose after ovulation on day 19 of my cycle. I have a 33-35 day cycle. Very regular between those 2 numbers. So I think i ovulated earlier then the calander said I should have, but the cm was there and the temp rise was there at day 19 sooooo i take it i just dont follow a calander.. big deal. BUT here is the thing today I am on day 17 of high temps. they were 37.0 for about a week and then 37.1 since then every morning very STRAIGHT line on my chart..... so after 17 days of a raised temp and no af (although I have felt mild crampynes coming and going for a week.... but no seriousl signs of AF i usually have) when do i test? is 17 days a long time for raised temps? Usuaully in charts they are up for about 12 days then af starts.. but my cycle IS longer..
this is confusing. I need my own personal fertitility coach in my basement that I can call on whenever I need to know somthing (so every 4 minuts!)
if any one knows anything about this temp stuff... let me know!!
Im one of those people that hates to test unless i really think i have reason to... as i hate "failing" those stupid tests!!!
Thanks!

Nice to have you on the board. If it has been 17 days since ovulation (which would mean you are on cycle day 36) then you can test. You should get a true result although I have known women to not get a bfp till 2 weeks after AF is due. Do you have a chart online, or are you just charting at home on paper.

Good lUck and let us know the results when you chart.

I might be mistaken, but I don't think you have to pay for fertility friend? Or you could try fertility circle? Not sure if that's free or not.
