Yes, definitely use the original waking temp.
That
is quite a difference too! As you can see it's important to be consistent with the time and also to be consistent about taking it
immediately after waking. For some women (you seem to be one of them) waking and then going back to sleep, or just dozing, causes the temps to be off. Others can wake up several times during the night and not see a difference.
Anyway, for you it will be important to pick one time and stick with it. Even if DH is off 3 days a week, set an alarm for 5 am, temp, and then go back to sleep on those days. That way it will be the same time every day no matter what.
